But knowing what I know now, I would have been much better served by something used that had been “pro” once BUT he’s not a year-old rank amateur Main thing that bothers me about my WK from a dk-1800 years ago is that synth leads can’t be set to mono, at least as far as I know.
Casio Wk-1800 – decent enough?
Many of the factory patches and above are very good. I consider the WK sounds overall to be about average for a GM synth. But I came upon another wierd problem that probably has a solution that is so easy that i’m totaly ovelooking it.

I actually like ,idi of the sounds on it and I haven’t had a reason to dump it, though I have considered it. The organs are heavy hitters also. Im just the musician guy who can play alot of instruments but have yet to delve deep into the internals of computer-based recording.

My apologies for contradicting Signore Nicolantonio, but Casios are crap, if only judging by the hordes of them for sale on Craigslist Honestly, the keys are little chiclets, and can’t really play chords on it.
