So I installed the driver a again without uninstalling the Microsoft one first , rebooted and it worked fine. I went to asus site, and downloaded vista bit driver It seems to work well with Windows 7, but i have one problem.

I was up until recently using an m-audio lt audiocard with multiple ins and outs which i used with cubase 7.
